Jay Rock is currently out on the road at the moment for his "Big Redemption Tour" with fellow TDE labelmate Reason, and recently the two were in Vancouver, Canada for a show at the Imperial where they participated in one of Nardwuar’s always-entertaining interviews.
Per usual, “the Human Serviette” goes deep into the vaults and taps into Jay Rock’s early career, bringing up how TDE started and how he met Top Dawg. In addition to that, Nardwuar also gifted Rock with some old vinyls and records too that he would be familiar with, some of which brought him to pure shock & laughter for his knowledge on him. Later in the interview, TDE’s Reason gets brought into the picture, where Nardwaur talks about his first job and hands him a few records of his own that he might like. He also shows Reason an old pic of him on the bball court, where he played college basketball at Northwestern College.
