Jay Rich is a 20-year-old rapper from Orlando, Florida, one of many rappers out of the region who've impressed us recently. His new track "Item 9" is decidedly more laid-back than many of the Three 6 Mafia-influenced emcees from the area. The production is built off of a warm sample that shift between a riffy guitar loop, and an ascending key-line (courtesy of Ill Will Beatz). He greets it with a bass-y punch, bringing plenty of personality to the table. Look for his mixtape Edgar Allan Poe'd Up .
