Jared Evan and Stiatik Selektah already have one joint LP, Boom Bap & Blues, to their names, and now we've gotten wind of a second one. Entitled Still Blue, the new project arrives on October 28th, and is previewed by a new trailer co-directed by Rik Cordero and Evan himself.
Opening with a creepy dialog sample, some even scarier organs, a bassline and (of course) a boom bap beat that sounds like it was beamed from 1994, the trailer shows a messy pile of vinyl on the ground. A hand, drenched in blue paint, emerges, and credits roll.
Though Jared Evan and Stiatik Selektah don't give us too many clues about Still Blue in the trailer, we're psyched to hear it.
