When you pursue your dream of becoming an artist or musician, there are several goals you may keep in the back of your mind on your way to the top. For some, the pinnacle of the list contains musings such as one day winning a Grammy award. Others wish to become the greatest of all time. For some, their long-term goal is to make it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Obviously, reaching the Hall of Fame takes dedication, talent, and tons of hard work. Despite its name, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has been accepting nominees from all genres, regardless of their connection to rock'n'roll. This year's nominees have just been announced and there are a handful of fan favorites in the fray.

Leading the bunch are LL Cool J and Janet Jackson, who are joined by Stevie Nicks. After their snub last year, Radiohead are back on the card with Kraftwerk, Rage Against the Machine, Rufus & Chaka Khan and more. Rounding out the nominees are Def Leppard, Devo, MC5, John Prine, The Cure, Roxy Music, The Zombies, and Todd Rundgren.

Stevie Nicks has the opportunity to become the first woman to be inducted twice into the Hall of fame - once as a solo act and once as a member of Fleetwood Mac.

According to People, inductees are required to have released their first official recording 25 years prior to being nominated. This year's lucky names will be announced in December 2018, while the ceremony itself will take place on March 29, 2019. Congratulations to all those nominated!
