Janelle Monáe was commissioned by Pepsi to create a cover of David Bowie's "Heroes" for their new ad campaign. The song dropped at the beginning of April and the official video followed soon after. Now, the ArchAndroid songstress returns with a performance of the track live on David Letterman.
"Heroes" will appear on Pepsi's new album Pepsi Beats of the Beautiful Game which will contain 11 new records and short films to match, that all revolve around soccer (or football, depending on where you're from). The soundtrack arrived this past Tuesday and features contributions from Kelly Rowland, Janelle Monáe, Rita Ora, Don Omar, Santigold, Timbaland and more.
