Jacquees is at his best when he gets into slow jam territory, and "Want Your Sex" ranks among his strongest records within the style. Teaming up with DeJ Loaf, who he previously worked with on his excellent MOOD mixtape, Jacquees delivers a traditional duet as he goes back and forth with the melodically gifted DeJ much like he did Tink on "Outta Line" earlier this month.
Like much of his material, the "Want Your Sex" feels in line with the lineage of classic R&B while also bringing some fresh elements to the table, mixing emotions with emojis. As his fourth release this October, it seems its only a matter of time before Jacquees delivers yet another project, following his two from this year (MOOD and Lost At Sea with Birdman).
