New York's Jack Marzilla, the new alias of producer Mistr Adams, made his debut with last month's "Low Key Trill," and he continues to hone in on a late-night hybrid sound, a seamless blend of trap and R&B, with his new track "Vibes."
The two titles of the tracks Marzilla has released thus far are indicative of the mission he has with his new artistic persona: to supply the mood. His lyrics are subtle and concise, and he knows how to work around the aqueous production and let his voice act as another instrument amid the wash of intoxicating sounds. There's an air of mystery surrounding the romantic encounter he finds himself in on this particular jam, but the "Vibes" are just right -- right enough for the track to soundtrack a late-night affair of your own.
I'ma be honest, I am no liar
You are too good, you are too fire
Whippin' the Honda, feel like a Lotus
You love the vibe, pour more mimosas
