It all sounded so perfect. Partying on a yacht with Emily Ratajowski, Kendall Jenner, and Bella Hadid. Living it up on a luxurious private island on the Bahamas, taking selfies, eating fine cuisine and catching performances from the likes of Blink-182, Skepta and Rae Stremmurd. With tickets priced between $1200 and $12,000, Ja Rule's Fyre Festival seemed poised to be the next big thing in high-end entertainment.

Only it all went horribly wrong. The utopia that festival-goers were promised turned out to be straight out of "Children of Men." If you're a fan of gallows humor, it's almost hilarious just how messed up this "festival" is. Hell, there have even been reports of feral dogs roaming the grounds. The whole situation is straight out a bad horror movie. I wouldn't be surprised if Ja Rule emerged from a hatch decked in Mad Max attire, proceeded to hand out weapons, and announced a fight-to-the death ("it's murdaaaaa").

Pictures speak louder than words, so check out this gallery to get yourself up to speed, including this video from TMZ:

Kendall Jenner has purged her Instagram of all mentions of the Fyre Festival. As for Ja, he's remained silent on the issue. Lord knows he's about to be hit with a tidal wave of a lawsuit. As of now, the Festival has been indefinitely postponed.
