The Diary, J Dilla's nearly lost vocal album is finally getting an official release, and before it hits stores this Friday, we've been treated to the release of one of the project's most anticipated tracks. If you've been paying attention, you'll know that "The Sickness" was premiered during Nas' headlining set at the Mass Appeal SXSW showcase, but now it can be heard in its full quality glory.

The track begins with a ferocious verse from Dilla himself, always underrated as an emcee, before Nas comes in with a 16 deserving of its placement on such a legendary release. Pre-order the project on iTunes now.

Quotable Lyrics:
Everybody's not goin', gettin'
They mad because they can't accept me
They try to hex me, especially those who never rose
They want better clothes and nicer lives
I don't have an ego, I go harder than average people
Plus I got twice the drive
Suited and booted, n*ggas might have heard I was lost
