J. Cole has been on an unstoppable streak since releasing his album "KOD," last month. He's set a Billboard record by debuting three tracks in the top ten of the Hot 100 chart at the same time, and he produced massive first week streaming numbers for an album that didn't even have a lead single. However, a recent shout out from comedy god Martin Lawrence may be Cole's most impressive accomplishment yet.

On his Instagram on Tuesday, Lawrence posted a video of him vibing to the final track on Cole's album, "1985," nodding his head and clearly entranced in the music. Once Cole finishes his verse, Lawrence is almost left speechless, only able to express his awe with a "my goodness!"

Lawrence then shouted out Cole in the caption of the video, saying, "@realcoleworld Your album is šŸ”„!! I love it! Keep doin your thing brotha." A great album can move you both physically and mentally, and Lawrence was clearly moved by Cole's latest offering.

Lawrence has always enjoyed a high level of respect from rap artists (Kendrick Lamar has admitted in interviews that Lawrence's sitcom Martin was one of his favorite TV shows), so to give a special shout out to another artist at the top of his game might have been a cool moment for Cole.

While Martin is at home listening to albums, the world is still anticipating the long awaited Bad Boys For Life movie. Where is it Martin?!
