Dreamville Festival will take place in April 2019.
Due to Hurricane Florence, J. Cole announced earlier this week that his inaugural Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, NC would have to be canceled. At the time, he didn't have the exact details on when it would be rescheduled, but he did offer to reimburse ticketholders. Roughly a week later and J. Cole and Dreamville have set a rescheduled date for the long-awaited festival.
J. Cole's Dreamville Festival is set to take place on April 6, 2019, in Dix Park, according to the festival's official Twitter page. Dreamville Festival is honoring previously purchased tickets and also offering refunds for those who can't make it.
"We battled with the idea of moving forward with the festival at this time or formally canceling the event. After receiving unwavering support from our fans and the community, we are excited to announce Dreamville Festival will now take place on April 6th, 2019," read an official statement from their Dreamville Fest.
They also revealed that the festival will additionally serve as a benefit to those affected by the Hurricane in the Carolinas. This comes after J. Cole's Dreamville Foundation announced that they're raising funds for victims of Hurricane Florence. Dreamville Foundation will be setting up ht food stations, temp housing for families and more. Cole himself is a native of Fayetteville, NC.
