J. Cole's confirmed his position as one of the greatest rappers of modern time with the release of K.O.D. The project was one of his most experimental projects to date and helped turned anyone who doubted him into a believer. In terms of music, it was an excellent project and it reflected on the Billboard charts when the numbers came in. The rapper debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with K.O.D, however, it also helped one of his older projects make it's way back onto the charts.

J. Cole's second studio album, Born Sinner has re-entered on the Billboard 200, according to chartdata. The album's sitting at the chart which is impressive considering that it's been five years since the album dropped. Much of it is likely due to the amount of traction his latest project has received.

Aside from Born Sinner re-entrance into the Billboard 200, he recently made history on the Billboard songs chart. The rapper became the first artist to ever debut three simultaneous singles on the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. "ATM," "Kevin's Heart" and the title track are sitting at 6, 8 and 10, respectively. Along with his three singles and Ariana Grande's new single, it marked the first time four song debuted in the top 10 of the charts in history.

In addition to his billboard success, the rapper also announced the inaugural "Dreamville Festival" in Raleigh, North Carolina.
