J. Cole is going a unique route with his upcoming album 2014 Forest Hills Drive. He's shying away from traditional promo and album campaign, instead getting the fans directly involved by hosting a listening session at his childhood home (which the LP is named after) and inviting fans to come through. He's also not dropping any singles leading up to the December 9th release date. All this would make it seem difficult for the album to leak, but, on the internet all things are possible.

An early leak of the album has reports circulating that the Cole World rapper took shots at several white rappers on a record called "Fire Squad," which has since been taken down from YouTube. According to HipHopDX though, the rapper spits,

"History repeats itself and that’s just how it goes / Same way that these rappers always bite each other’s flows/ Same thing that my nigga Elvis did with rock ‘n’ roll / Justin Timberlake, Eminem and then Macklemore."

He raps later on, "While silly nigga argue over who gon’ snatch the crown / Look around my nigga, White people have snatched the sound / This year I’ll be probably go to the awards dappered down / Watch Iggy win a Grammy as I try to crack a smile."

He says after, "I’m just playin’, but all good jokes contain true shit / Same rope you climb up on. They’ll hang you with."

Buy the album when it officially drops on December 9th. Cole recently teased fans that he's got Truly Yours 4 and Revenge of the Dreamers 2 in the works (not to mention a possible collabo project with Chance The Rapper).
