J. Cole appears to have joined team Puma.
J. Cole could be the next big artist to land an endorsement deal with one of the biggest sportswear brands. Earlier today, Puma endorser Usain Bolt shared a photo of himself on social media which he captioned, "Puma Family." On stage with him was Cara Delevigne, Adriana Lima and Fayetteville's own J. Cole. While he didn't announce any deals himself, many have speculated that he's the latest star to sign a major endorsement deal with a sports brand.
The photo posted by Usain Bolt was already telling but the Puma's Senior Marketing Manager Clyde Edwards, a.k.a Sneakerbox Clyde, took to Twitter to tease Cole's deal with Puma. "ROC is in the building," he tweeted. Cole is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation and Jay-Z also has his own connection to the brand. Hov was named the creative consultant of Puma Basketball last year.
Although J. Cole never worked with Puma in terms of clothing or shoes, the company did sponsor his 2015 "Dollar and A Dream" tour. Additionally, he was seen sporting an unreleased model from Puma at the 2019 NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte where he performed during the half-time show. Puma also served as a sponsor for the rapper's inaugural Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, NC this past weekend.
Keep your eyes peeled for more information on J. Cole's potential new collaboration with Puma.
