"Shea Butter Baby" is the latest music video to drop from Mike Will Made-It's Creed II: The Album. The warm visuals were created in collaboration with SHROOM and Elite productions, and features the joint track's performers, Ari Lennox and J. Cole. The clip follows two previous Creed II-related videos, "Runnin'" and "Kill 'Em With Success."
Any new content from Ari Lennox is received as a blessing by her fans. The artist to watch expressed her struggles with mental health last fall. "I don’t see how I can ever be happy doing music again," she had tweeted in August 2018. "I don’t want to write and I don’t want to listen to listen to any beats. I don’t want to perform. I think im [sic] literally done."
She has clearly pulled through since then, releasing a handful of singles including "Pedigree" and "No One" released in November. Her tenacity is growing strong and we're here for it.
