"EAT" is Gunna's second major guest appearance in a week. The Atlanta rapper already contributed to one of the strongest tracks on Playboi Carti's new album Die Lit, and he's also making a strong impression on Nav's new project. The track has the zoned-out, hypnotic sound of much of the Toronto rapper's music, but the back-and-forth dynamic between the two emcees gives the track a boost of energy that makes it stand out from the other records. It comes off Nav's new album Reckless, which arrived with short notice on Friday. The two previously collaborated on "Car Sick," which appeared on Gunna's underrated Drip Season 3. More than ever before, Gunna feels like he's having a moment, so when Nav suggests it's the rapper's "time to eat," it couldn't ring more true.
