“We’ve been in communication the last couple weeks ever since my sister passed."

Coming off a career-high 53 point performance in last night's overtime victory over the Wizards, Isaiah Thomas revealed that he has been receiving some help from Lakers legend, Kobe Bryant.

Thomas told reporters today that The Black Mamba has been watching Boston's game film with him and giving him pointers ever since Game 2 of the Celtics' first round series against Chicago.

In other words, the Celtics have won six straight ever since Kobe started breaking down the game tape and getting in Isaiah's ear.

Isaiah didn't reveal all of the secrets but he said of Kobe,

"Mentally he's on a different level than anybody I ever met. We was on the phone for 30 minutes, I emailed him my film and he watched every second. He was telling me what times to go to and what to look at and certain plays and things I didn't look at when I watch film. He's just, like I said, mentally you could tell he's one of the greatest ever."
