Kendrick Lamar and Drake's alleged "beef" has been so entirely subliminal that there's a chance fans just concocted the whole thing themselves. Then again, once in a while a line goes by that seems a little too loaded to be coincidence, for instance, when Kendrick spits "Motherfucker, know I started from the bottom," to open his "Deep Water" verse on Dr. Dre's Compton.

It doesn't end there, as Lamar comes through with some more confrontational bars at the end of his 16.

They liable to bury him, they nominated six to carry him/ They worrying him to death, but he's no vegetarian/ The beef is on his breath, inheriting the drama better than/ A great white, nigga, this is life in my aquarium

If you weren't convinced yet, Kendrick riffs on lyrics from Drake's "Energy" in yet another line from his appearance on "Darkside/Gone".

You scared of my heist now/But still I got enemies giving me energy/I wanna fight now/Subliminals sending me all of this hate/I thought I was holding the mic down

Of course, he never mentions Drizzy by name, but two interpolations of Drake lyrics on one album does get you wondering. What do you think? Will Drake retaliate?

Meanwhile, Meek Mill is still taking shots on tour.
