It's been a minute since we last heard from Irv Da Phenom, but with an upcoming album, Last Name First, on the way, we’re blessed with a new offering tonight titled “U R”.
The records first week iTunes & Bandcamp sales will be donated to Irv’s alma mater & after school programs in Kansas City. (Kensington Gymnasium & the YMCA where he stayed out of trouble as a kid). Here’s what he said about the record:
"Without a woman there is no life. Play this for the all of the queens in your life. Mothers, sisters, daughters, cousins, girlfriends, wives, friends. Let them know they are incredible and we're nothing without them”.
