Instagram model Heidi Hoback has revealed how LeBron James slid into her DMs over the weekend, and responded to the negative feedback she received after displaying the exchange on social media.
LeBron reportedly slid into Hoback's DMs while she was on a hunting trip and, naturally, she had to share the screenshot on Snapchat, revealing that the 3x-NBA champ asked, “Teach me how to hunt and I’ll teach you to play ball. Deal? Lol.”
Hoback hid her replies with a line of skull emojis, but her responses allegedly prompted LeBron to ask, “Where are you?”
After sharing the screenshot of her DMs with LeBron, Hoback was told by her followers that the 32-year old NBA star is a married man, which led her to respond to the negative press on Sunday in an eight-minute long youtube video.
In the video, Hoback says,
“I honestly was just having a normal day,” Hoback said. “Going over and hunting and then this wild encounter with a buck happened and it just so happened to be right when LeBron DMed me, so I thought I would share that."
“I took to Snapchat to share it with my followers because I thought it would be a funny story. You know, the message was pretty innocent as far as I know. And then some of my followers informed me that he was married, which I had no clue because I don’t follow him. I wouldn’t consider myself a fan so I wasn’t aware of that at all. I guess that’s why it’s been made into a bigger deal than I originally thought it’d be.”
LeBron has been married to his high school sweetheart Savannah since 2013. They have three kids together, LeBron Jr., 13, Bryce, 7, and Zhuri, 3. At the end of Hoback's youtube video she says LeBron is “more than welcome to bring the whole family out and we can definitely arrange that here in Virginia."
