Instagram has unveiled some new updates that will give users even more from the social media app. Starting today, users can share what they're listening to directly from the Spotify app instead of screenshotting a song or album and uploading the photo to their story. Watch the video below to see how the update works!

Those who have the GoPro app can click the respective share button and upload their video content directly to their Instagram stories, or send in a private message. Even more, a new kind of filter will be available as well, that will give users the opportunity to do things like try on different shades of Kylie Jenner's lip kit in a selfie or add realistic GIF's to images and videos.

Video chat is another new feature, that ties into the Live video option. The feature will allow users to chat one-on-one or in a small group. Instagram has also updated its automatic removal of negative comments and the platform will now delete comments that contain "attacks on a person’s appearance or character, as well as threats to a person’s well-being or health.”

Update your app, test out the new looks and let us know what you think. And get ready for the new Explore page layout that's set to come in the next few weeks making it even more effective for users.
