Teyana Taylor & Iman Shumpert forever.
Unlike most celebrity couples who prefer to keep the intimate details of their private lives and high-profile romances out of the public eye, singer-songwriter Teyana Taylor and former Cleveland Cavaliers standout Iman Shumpert have no problem sharing their relationship with fans desperate for an inside look at the realities of A-list love. A far cry from Kanye West tweeting from the sunken place of the home he shares with wife Kim Kardashian, whenever the Shumperts dish about their relationship it's obvious that their confessions are authentic and grounded in the truth of their reality. Cultivating a solid romance after having already established a strong friendship, Taylor and Shumpert officially linked up back in 2014 after the "Maybe" singer helped nurse the Sacramento Kings shooting guard back to health in the fallout of a knee injury.
After welcoming their daughter Iman "Junie" Tayla Shumpert, Jr. just one year later, the duo stayed true to form and low-key tied the knot while rocking matching red wine-colored leather biker jackets. Now officially boo'd-up and parents to a baby girl, the family that made headlines with their appearance in the mega-popular 2016 MTV VMA video debut for Kanye West’s “Fade," have brought their unique dynamic to the public by way of VH1's Teyana & Iman. While putting their modern romance as a Gen Z power couple on blast for an audience of millions is no small feat, the Shumpert's are committed to telling their story.
"It's so important to be a positive representation of black love," said Shumpert, revealing the motivation behind filming the eight-episode reality series. "It is to inspire love, period. There's nothing more special than showing young folk that you can be in love and you can be married," echoed Taylor in a teaser-trailer for the March 2018 debut of their series.

An Unexpected Delivery
Unlike most celebs, Teyana Taylor didn't give birth in a cushy Los Angeles hospital room. Instead, the singer-songwriter went into labor unexpectedly and delivered the daughter she shares with Iman Shumpert in their bathroom. "He handed her to me wrapped in our bath towel and wiped her face for me to see what LOVE really is," captioned Taylor alongside a snap of newborn Junie. "She has blown Christmas away! Our family is complete. Her blueprint will be unmatched. Welcome Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr. Mommy carried you. Daddy delivered you."
Serenading his baby daughter with his own rendition of Gnarls Barkley's "Smiley Faces," it's clear that Iman Shumpert had no problem transitioning to his role as a father and family man.
Back in 2016, Iman Shumpert helped the Cleveland Cavaliers secure the franchise's first NBA championship win against the Golden State Warriors. Naturally, Taylor and baby Junie watched the epic Game 7 comeback courtside while cheering on their main man the entire time. Just one day later, Shumpert celebrated his first ever father's day.
Shumpert hit the nail on the head by dubbing wife Taylor and daughter Junie twins in this early-morning candid snap.
