We're only a handful of episodes into the third season on HBO's Insecure and already we've got good news that a season four is definitely happening. Creator Issa Rae took to Twitter just moments ago to make the big announcement telling her millions of followers that the glowups will continue. "Thank you to everyone who has been watching and supporting!" she captioned the video.

Issa was Glamour magazines recent cover star and she discussed how her hit show could never be what it is today if she didn't have Black staff writers. “You can always tell when [a black show] feels overly explained. If you’re targeting a specific audience, there’s a shorthand people of color have, where you don’t need to explain it,” she told the publication, detailing how the success is also thanks to the minority crew of writers. “I could never do this show and have a predominantly white staff,” she added.

As for fans of the Insecure, there's one person Issa would cancel the series over is she proved to a fan and it's First Lady Melania Trump. "I would be like, ‘Well, I guess it’s canceled. We’re not making this show. It’s not ours anymore,’” she said.
