Iggy Azalea has been scrambling for her rap career (or perhaps any career, not really sure) seemingly for the past year or so. She's indulged in some plastic surgery in that time, squashed beef with Azealia Banks, had the roll out of her original album, Digital Distortion, equally squashed, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. As she's gone back to the drawing board with her album, which has been retitled Surviving the Summer, she's finding her footing, or at least, hoping to find it, with her poppy new single "Savior" featuring Migos' guest appearance favourite, Quavo. Quavo seems to be the go-to pick for a female artist looking to collaborate on a pop-driven song-- case-in-point: records with Camila Cabello ("OMG") and Livia ("Catch A Body"). Will he help Iggy launch on to the Billboard charts once again with "Savior"?

The song is currently live in Iggy's home country of Australia, but you'll be able to access it on your streaming platform of choice come Midnight if you live elsewhere. The record itself draws on the dancehall vibes that Drake has helped bring into the mainstream, for a light, summer-y feel, that, should work perfectly on pop-driven radio stations.

Let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

I feel like God playin' tricks on me, got a fix on me
Feel the weight of the world like I got a brick on me
Had a dance with the devil and he got a grip on me
I'm just tryna get to heaven, hope you got a ticket for me
