A true man of his word, IDK promised us a freestyle, and he gave us a freestyle.
We’re not quite sure what’s going on here, but we’ll chop it up to a classic case on Internet trolling with some lyrical chops to back it up. On Wednesday (June 27th), IDK took to Twitter to announce that he was, in fact, the missing member of this year’s XXL Freshman Class, as the cover only featured 9 emcees this time around. He said that we would receive his freestyle today (June 28th) and here it is.
Appropriately titled “Trippie Redd’s Freestyle” as 2018 Freshman Trippie Redd’s actual XXL freestyle dropped today as well, IDK assumes the position in the traditional backdrop that XXL has boasted in year’s past with red and yellow lights draping a warehouse backdrop as he unleashes his bars.
