It was almost a year ago that we first reported that Ice T's grandson, Elyjah Marrow, had been charged with involuntary manslaughter following the shooting of his roommate, Daryus Johnson.
Marrow, 19, accidentally fired a stolen handgun and killed Johnson, also 19, in so doing. A grand jury in Cobb County came to their decision on June 4th, to indict Marrow on charges of "involuntary manslaughter and theft by receiving stolen property and possession of firearm during commission of a felony reckless conduct." In addition, Marrow has been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana for more than an ounce.
Marrow is currently out on bond.
