Kobe Bryant is going to need to get a restraining order against Ice Cube if he wants the Big3 co-founder to stop badgering him about joining the Big3 League. Those are Ice Cube's words, not mine.

During a recent appearance on ESPN's Outside The Lines, Ice Cube spoke about the league's pursuit of The Black Mamba, and how he won't give up until his mission is complete.

"To me he's the biggest name out there for us to get and he's going to have to get a restraining order on me to leave him alone about this," Ice Cube said (H/T USA Today).

"I think we just keep doing what we doing putting on great basketball and I think we have a lot of retired players looking at our league and they want a piece of this," Ice Cube said. "And we've got a lot of players that are at the end of their career that are looking at our league. If you got the itch, we got the scratch. We just keep putting on a great product and if he wants to play, he'll come play."

Earlier this week the Kobe to Big3 rumors gained traction after league co-founder Jeff Kwatinetz said, “I did hear from a credible source that Kobe is going to be playing next year. That’s something, but it may be nothing.” However, almost immediately after Kwatinetz's comments went viral, Molly Carter, chief marketing officer of Kobe Inc., relayed a message that Bryant "definitely is not playing next year."

Still, Ice Cube isn't giving up hope. Check out what he had to say about Kobe during his appearance on OTL in the video embedded below.
