The much-hyped N.W.A biopic, "Straight Outta Compton," opened in theaters today, and to promote the film, members of the cast, along with Ice Cube and director F. Gary Gray, visited DJ Whoo Kid's show. The young actors discussed getting into character to portray the group's legends, and Gray and Cube were on hand to offer some backstory and details on the film's production.
Corey Hawkins, who plays Dr. Dre in "Straight Outta Compton," is first up, being asked by Whoo Kid if he perfected the "hell yeah" that Dre was known for. Also of note is Gray's story about why Nipsey Hussle didn't end up playing Snoop Dogg.
