Iamsu! has been low key having himself a monster year in 2017. From dropping off THREE installments of the Boss Up series to releasing countless singles & videos, the Bay Area rapper has kept fans happy with plenty of new music over the past year, and thankfully he doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon either.

Earlier on Friday, Suzy announced on Twitter that he was dropping a new song called “I Be,” and alas here it is. Over the self-produced beat, Iamsu delivers a synth-heavy, auto-tuned draped record that finds the Bay Area native rapping & crooning about being “the man ‘round here.” You might notice, unless its just me, that his flow & delivery on the hook is similar to that of Weezy’s “We Be Steady Mobbin” hit, crooning… “My Diamonds are clear ‘bout to put this shit in gear oooh/ Now we just getting started big racks on me I buy it if I want for real.”

It’s unclear at the moment on where this will end up, but Heartbreak Suzy says he has another tape on the way. “Lets have some fun. new tape OTW,” he shared along with song.

Following up last month's "It's Only One Way" release, take a listen to the self-produced cut & let us know what you think. If you wish to see Iamsu! live in person, you’re in luck, fans can catch him at the 3rd annual #IAMSUMMER in the Bay Area (Fox Theatre Oakland) September 9th. (see ticket info here)

Quotable Lyrics:

I call her Milk Marie she spoiled

Ice so mean Im froze
Best believe she chose

Yet and still I need my dough
