We are very sad to report that rising rapper, Doe B, known for his role in Hustle Gang, and his recent Baby Jesus mixtape was killed in an Alabama club shooting early this morning. Not many details are known, but it has been reported that the act of violence took place at the Centennial Hill Bar and Grill (once known as Rose Supper Club) in Doe B's hometown of Montgomery, Alabama.

The rapper, real name Glenn Thomas, was 22 years old. He was reportedly not the only one hit in the shooting. More information to come as it arrives.

Thomas' management confirmed his death through the rapper's Twitter account. This was not the first time Doe was the victim of a shooting, famously wearing an eye patch since suffering a gunshot wound to the face 3 years ago.

Many rappers have taken the time to send their condolences, including DrakeJuicy J, and Hustle Gang leader T.I. Read their thoughts below.

HNHH would like to send its condolences to the friends and family of Doe B in wake of this tragedy.

[Update: New Details Emerge]

According to the Montgomery Police Department, the unidentified woman killed in the shooting was 21-year-old Montgomery native Kimberle Johnson. Six others suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to local hospitals as well. The incident apparently occurred around 1:30 AM on Saturday morning.

Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange has closed the Centennial Hill Bar and Grill for the time being, officially stating that the venue "poses an imminent threat to the public's safety", also citing a history of violence at the establishment.

Word is Doe B may have been set up. Here's hoping his killer is brought to swift justice.

[Update: Suspect Identified]

As reported by Alabama's WSFA 12 News, a 25-year-old, eye-patch-rocking male by the name of Jason McWilliams has surrendered himself to authorities for the Montgomery shooting that resulted in the deaths of both Doe B and Kimberle Johnson. Word is he'd been feuding with the rising Hustle Gang rapper prior to the incident.

McWilliams is currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention facility without bond, and has been charged with capital murder. There's a photo of him in the gallery above.
