The Posterz is one of our favorite rap acts out of Montreal right now. The group recently released their Junga EP, a strong collection of songs that challenge current rap trends, introducing a sound that is equal parts gritty and psychedelic.
Husser, one of the group's members, is also working on solo material, and today he's shared the video for "Name Another N!99@," which takes things in a more aggressive direction, but keeps the colorful sample selection we've heard from the group intact. The clip finds him and his squad cruising through MTL on some unconventional rides, wearing masks and running up on a drive through.
Husser says of the record, "I think I broke the record for how many times anyone ever said "N!99@" on a track”. It's probably up there. Look out for Husser's upcoming solo EP H.i., coming soon.
