Husalah is a legend in his own right. He played his part in the Hyphy movement which has manifested greatly over to new styles of dance and hip hop production. He is a prominent member of Mob Figaz, a Bay Area rap supergroup formed by C-Bo in 1997, responsible for giving the world a glimpse at The Jacka, another legend in his own right.

Husalah is a purveryor of a Bay Area tradition of "reality rap," describing a subculture which has a found a distinct voice. Bay Area artists have found a way to balance their musical talent with a message of social vulnerability.

Husalah's is his third album since returning from a 5 year prison sentence for drug trafficking. It features a posthumous verse from The Jacka, and production from The Mekanix who also laced a few joints on E-40 & B-Legit's Connected and Respected. The album undoubtedly offers a distinctive funky element, innately present in the Bay.
