The How to Train Your Dragon franchise is getting a third and final installment. Dreamworks' animated family films won over critics and smashed the box office, so a third movie was an obvious and necessary move. A trailer for the last film in the trilogy, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, hit the web today (June 7), and it appears that Toothless has found love.
Dreamworks' official plot of the film reads: "Hiccup and Toothless will finally discover their true destinies: the village chief as ruler of Berk alongside Astrid, and the dragon as leader of his own kind. As both ascend, the darkest threat they've yet faced, as well as the appearance of a female Night Fury, will test the bonds of their relationship like never before." Dean DeBlois, who co-directed the first film and wrote and directed the second film on his own, is back to complete his work on The Hidden World. The final film in the trilogy hits theaters on March 1, 2019.
