Hoodie Allen has seemed to be under the radar lately. Back in early 2016, he dropped his album Happy Camper album and has since been working on something fresh, clearly. While all of his fans have been waiting for a new drop from him, he has come back baring gifts within the past twenty four hours. Earlier in the week, it seemed that he cleared his whole Instagram and then dropped one picture that simply said "Wednesday. You ready?" While it was a pretty vague post, on Wednesday took to Instagram once again to announce that he his new album, The Hype, would be dropping on September 29th and also announced that he'd have a new single off the project dropping this week. Well today, he drops his brand new single "Sushi."

As most Hoodie Allen songs, his personality that he gives off in his raps is the most enticing part. His latest single is a hella fun joint. While on the hook he flexes his his singing abilities, he's still giving his fans the word-play and bars that they love from him. It's a song that one of your friends will definitely end up playing if you hand them the aux chord.

Hoodie Allen's enjoying life in this song. It has a celebratory tone as he raps "I got money rollin' to me, I got, I got that sushi." It'll definitely have you throwing your hands up in the air. Although he's been relatively silent, it safe to say that he broke the silence and with this single out now, we're hoping we'll receive at least one or two more songs off the album before it drops.

Hoodie Allen commented below the YouTube video for this song saying "I feel like I'm officially back! My album is out in 5 weeks. Every song bangs just wait."

Don't worry. We will be.

Quotable Lyrics
Taking trips with your girl to the Indian Islands,
Bring her on tour, yeah I Nicki Minaj'd it
I be reppin' New York like I play for the Giants
But I root for the Jets because I only fly private
