Back in December, former Odd Future rapper Hodgy Beats released his first studio album as a solo artist called Fireplace: TheNotTheOtherSide, which featured guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, & Salomon Faye. Today, the Pasadena rapper decides to revisit that very project & share a new video in its support for the track “Glory.”

Here’s what Hodgy had to say about it in a press release: “‘Glory' was an introspective animation, through the lens of a view finder. Addressing internal challenges and new found growth, I recognized, change was at hand. The video’s execution was something I was bound to reach with an amazing collective, ‘Open The Portal.’ I would arrive at their DTLA workspace with Trenton, where we created a chemical synergy, bringing us to the video’s treatment and later on, product.”

Watch the video (above), and when you’re done revisit our recent conversation with the man himself right here while you’re at it. Fireplace: TheNotTheOtherSide available now on iTunes.
