J. Cole, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, Colin Kaepernick & Lebron James are just some of the names praising Eminem for his freestyle Tuesday night.
In case you missed it, Eminem is coming off a legendary cypher Tuesday night at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards, where he attacked Donald Trump for a ferocious 4-minute freestyle. Addressing everything from the NFL protests & Puerto Rico to the Mexico border walls & Charlottesville, Em delivered an acapella cypher that any anti-Trump supporter will appreciate.
The freestyle instantly became the talks on the internet following its airing, where we saw some notable hip hop artists giving the Detroit legend some praise, including J. Cole, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, MC Ren, Mack Maine, Angie Martinez, & more.
J Cole decided to “thank” Eminem for his comments, where T-Pain suggested we need to “protect Eminem at all costs.” Snoop decided to hop on Instagram, and deliver a video message giving Em a “shoutout for saying some real shit.”
“Shoutout to Eminem for saying some real shit,” he said in the Instagram video. “Eminem, I always knew you was a real ni**a. We totally know you a real ni**a now…Eminem, real motherfuckin’ ni**a, so says Snoop Dogg.”
However fellow hip-hop artists weren't the only ones to praise Em. Athletes such as LeBron James, Colin Kapernick (who gets referenced by Eminem in the freestyle), and even Enes Kanter got into the mix, tweeting out words for Eminem Tuesday night.
Colin Kaepernick “appreciated” Eminem’s shout out, meanwhile King James tweeted out some lyrics that Eminem spit about racism in the cypher. “Racism is the only thing he's Fantastic 4(fantastic for), cause that's how he gets his rock off, he's orange.”
The freestyle, which is being called “The Storm,” has been the topic of conversation Tuesday night on social media so we decided to dig up some of the tweets & posts to give you run down of what everyone's been saying.
