While he may be on a campaign to rename it, Drake has never stopped representing Toronto, and his hosting gig at the city's very first All-Star Weekend affirms that. With that being said, it seems a great time to honor Drizzy for his duties as the unofficial global ambassador of the 6, so Fruiday night, before the parties erupted, the rapper was awarded the key to the city.
The ceremony took place at Ricoh Colliseum, with Drake making a very sincere acceptance speech."I just want to say thank you to a city that is unconditionally supportive, unconditionally loving," he said. "I will never stop loving this city. I will never stop representing this city."
While he has quite a few accomplishments under his belt, the 6 God counted this among his most special. "This is one of the biggest moments of my life, if not the biggest moment of my life."
