The first video off Heems' latest album Eat Pray Thug stars Eric Andre and Hannibal Burress. If you're familiar with Adult Swim's two leading comedians, then you'll be prepared for the hilarious weirdness that ensues on "Sometimes".
The video was inspired by a infomercial for skin-lightening cream Heems saw while he was touring in India. Heems plays the "guru" selling the "Sometimes" whitening skin cream, which Eric Andre impulsively buys while watching late-night TV. He then runs to his girlfriend with his new look only to find her with (a much darker) Hannibal Burress. Like Heems' best work, the video combines humor with nuanced social commentary.
