Two episodes are left standing in the final season of the Game of Thrones series. The prior episodes certainly left everyone clutching for pearls and gasping for air. As the series wraps up, a set of events are expected by viewers, but the show does indeed enjoy giving us the unexpected. While we still have to wait a few days before the follow-up to last week's episode, HBO has granted us a preview into the battle to come. Our favorite characters may have gotten themselves out of the imminent death promised by the Night King and his White Walkers, but it does not mean the blood thirst for power has ended.

The released photos tease the oncoming battle between the Dragon Queen and Cersei's army. The two women are certain to come at each other's neck in the few episodes left, considering the savagery that went down the last episode. We also catch a preview of a worried Jon Snow, looking at an army standing outside of the King's Landing. A somber shot of the Daenerys looking over a cloudy sky further piques our curiosity. These can only get us even more excited for the oncoming show.
