At the top of the month, Halsey hinted at a new project surrounded on nightmares when she wiped her social media clean and shared a link for fans to follow. The website fans were taken to allowed them to have their nightmares defined. Now just a few weeks later, we see that it was all in preparation for her latest single.
"Nightmare" comes equipped with a music video that's a powerful one, showing a band of women in all shapes and sizes battling but also uniting together. "Imagine getting onstage every night and seeing young women sweating mascara tears, lightning in their eyes, throwing elbows and raising fists, screaming till the veins in their necks raise under warm skin, and not being inspired by it. this song is about you, for you," Halsey wrote on Twitter about her new song.
