We've been waiting on MMG singee Gunplay's debut album, Living Legend, for way too long, but on October 8th, we'll receive some consolation. He's planning on dropping a self-titled mixtape, and today he's shared "Savages," on which he's assisted by Cormega.
Over a classical-sounding piano line, the duo each spit fantastic verses that showcase their unique skill sets. Hazardis Soundz's beat is rather out of character for Gunplay, as it sounds very old-school NY, but nevertheless, the Florida MC completely annihilates "Savages" with his foaming-at-the-mouth style of rapping.
Fittingly, "Savages" closes with a sound bite from the 2012 film of the same name.
