As expected, it was left to Ariana Grande and the duo of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper to battle it out for the top two slots on the Billboard 200 this week with the latter of the matchup reigning victorious for their Star Is Born soundtrack with 128,000 album equivalent units, following a strong showing at last week's Academy Awards. Miss Grande casually slipped into No. 2 for her Thank U, Next outing with 116,000.

But the most precious showing, at least we'd like to think so in these ends, is the No. 3 debut of Gunna's Drip or Drown 2 album. The young Atlanta superstar does so with 90,000 album units with 7,000 in pure sales. It beats out his Drip Harder set with Lil Baby that peaked at No. 4 on the same chart. Interestingly, Gunna is only the first of five total debuts in the Top 10 this week, the most since October of last year, in the same week Drip Harder actually debuted.

Of these debuts, four albums are belonging to Hip-Hop and R&B artists, which speaks to more cause for celebration. Following up at No.4, we'll find Offset's Father Of 4 project, almost matching his young contemporary with 89,000 units. It becomes Offset's fourth Top 10 effort, two of which he earned as a member of Migos when both Culture and Culture II debuted at No. 1. The other honor belongs to his Metro Boomin collab Without Warning, which previously debuted and peaked at No. 4.

At No. 5 is Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack with 61,000 units, while Gary Clark Jr. debuts at No. 6 for his This Land album with 54,000 units, making it his third top 10 outing. Moving on down the list is Lil Pump at No. 7 for his Harverd Dropout project which moves 48,000 units, 25,000 of which are pure album sales, due to merchandise/album bundles. His last top 10 album was with his self-titled debut which bowed and peaked at No. 3 in 2017.

A Boogie wit da Hoodie continues his top 10 run with Hoodie SZN at No. 8 after pushing 37,000 while Kehlani earsn the final top 10 debut of the week with her While We Wait capturing 34,000 units. Post Malone continues his own domination as well, closing out the top 10 for beerbongs & bentleys with 33,000 units.
