Reports say "The Autobiography Of Gucci Mane" film adaptation is officially in the works.
Ever since his 2016 release, Gucci Mane's been a whole new person. The rapper made a complete 180 in his life from his personality to his physical appearance. So much that many even thought Gucci Mane was actually a clone. The rapper went from taking his life experiences and turning it into a New York Times bestseller with The Autobiography Of Gucci Mane. He later revealed that he was bringing his life story to the big screen. Now, it looks like he got some major production houses behind the project.
According to Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Pictures and Imagine Entertainment have teamed up to bring Gucci Mane's biopic to life. They say that Imagine's Chairman, Brian Grazer and President, Erica Huggins will produce the biopic while Gucci Mane and Todd Moscowitz will serve as the film's executive producers. Paramount and Imagine have received the life rights to Gucci Mane and the movie rights to the book. The film adaptation will be going through Paramount.
Aside from film, Gucci's already making some major power moves in other fields. The rapper revealed at the end of January that he's already working on his second book. In addition to that, it looks like he's working heavily on his 1017 Eskimo imprint and other music ventures. He's already placed offers to sign Lil Pump to the label and yesterday, he announced a compilation album from the roster.
Gucci also has other music endeavors he's plotted out. Shortly after the release of El Gato The Human Glacier, he bean working on his forthcoming album Evil Genius as well as a joint project with Migos and Lil Yachty.
