Over the past few weeks, Gucci Mane has been promoting something called #Woptober on his social media accounts, and now we officially know what it is. As expected, Woptober is the title to Gucci Mane’s next album, the follow up to this Summer’s Everybody Looking album, which featured Kanye West, Drake & Young Thug.
Gucci made the announcement on Twitter Friday afternoon, when he tweeted & revealed that his latest single “Last Time” with Travis Scott would be off his next album Woptober. “My new single #LastTime ft Travis Scott from my upcoming album #Woptober is now on iTunes !!!!” He later confirmed things with an Instagram post as well, announcing #NewAlbumAlert (see IG post below).
Gucci hasn’t revealed any sort of release date for the project yet, but it’s safe to presume that it’ll be coming sometime in October. We'll keep you posted as more information comes to light.
