It’s not “every day” we get new music from mystery Chicago act Goodbye Tomorrow, but when we do it’s usually worth the wait & dope as fuck. Today, the mystery act, which is comprised of a rapper & producers, decide to return to the scene with their new Stan Sono-produced song “Every Day.”
Following up “Runway Model/ Perle De Gris,” “Every Day” talks about the opportunity of a new beginning, the hustle and the struggle. Lead vocalist Preme ties in the hook to relate to the identity of anyone working toward their dreams and getting another chance “Every Day.” More than a motivation song, the lyrics speak about rebirth, the truth, and living your own destiny.
The song surfaces along with their new website as well, which if you like dope shit should peep right here. Check it out.
Quotable Lyrics:
I remember on the weekends had to make it to the train
Just to catch another train just to make it to the studio
Now I walk out my room turn left take fifteen steps and Im at my own studio
If I go outside Wicker Park, Hyde Park, Soho look around you know you see the logos
Cops still prolly lookin’ for the one who wrote those
Testin’ our limits always missin’ as far at that go
