Sister duo VanJess first came to prominence through the uploading of their creative mashups at the height of the Youtube cover era. Recently, the girls have carefully situated a focus on their own original music and the results look promising. Fresh off a year that included smooth R&B cuts featuring appearances from the likes of Masego and GoldLink, VanJess has returned with the music video for the collaboration with the latter in the form of the visuals for "Through Enough."
For those unfamiliar with the catalog, "Through Enough" is only a taste of the nostalgic vibe exuded by the two sisters. "The greatest thing about it, because we are siblings, we are super honest with each other about this doesn't sound good here or this is dope here," they previously explained in an interview about the process of crafting that sound. "We're each other's biggest support system, so we trust each other. It just makes everything easy."
Curretnly, we're awaiting VanJess's forthcoming album, slated for release this year.
