GoldLink employed WaveIQ for the production of the single, while Peewee Longway tags along for a featured verse. The instrumental for "Muscle" is calm and contemplative, using a smooth piano sample to lull listeners into a trance.
GoldLink plays with his flows in his usual sporadic method, wrapping his words around the percussions.
