The Golden State Warriors have announced plans to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the "We Believe" team, a Baron-Davis led squad that upset the #1-seeded Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the 2007 playoffs.
Wednesday, May 3rd will mark 10 years to the day that the "We Believe" Warriors defeated the 67-win Mavs by 25 points in Game 6, eliminating them from the playoffs.
Tomorrow, May 2nd, prior to Game 1 of the Warriors vs Jazz series, limited-edition “We Believe” 10-Year Anniversary t-shirts will be available for purchase at WarriorsTeamStore.com and at Oracle Arena.
According to the press release, several members of that iconic Warriors team will be on-hand for the celebration, including Baron Davis, Stephen Jackson, Jason Richardson, Monta Ellis, Al Harrington, Kelenna Azubuike, Adonal Foyle, Patrick O’Bryant and Zarko Cabarkapa. Another member of that team, Matt Barnes, will also be in the building but that's because he's on the current Warriors roster.
