Coming off the heels of his debut mixtape Mr Get Down, Goodie Mob member, Gipp, has his eyes set already on his next album, Zagga. Tonight, he decides to come through and premiere the first single off that album with “Beautiful Lover,” featuring Eric Benet.
Produced by DR Freak, the track is another funky, feel-good record that features the soulful vocals of R&B crooner Eric Benét. Speaking on the upcoming album, here’s what Gipp had to say about it,
“Zagga represents his signature sound and style. “I am the beginning and the end. There is no you without me,” he explains. “The name starts with the end of the alphabet and ends with the beginning. That’s the significance of it all. I did it full circle as far as being an artist. That’s what I mean by the name of the album, Zagga.”
