Timbaland has had a long and varied career, but he got his start in R&B. Timbo's first major production work was with Jodeci, but not long after, he linked up with newcomer Ginuwine. The result was an unstoppable team, crafting multiple hits together, including the timeless smash, Pony.
While still continuously releasing music, Ginuwine shied from the spotlight over the course of the 00s, as he and Timbo went their separate ways. Luckily for fans of the R&B singer's early work, Ginuwine has announced a brand new album to be produced by Timbaland, and he's looking at a 2015 release date.
Details are not yet known, and a post on the singer's Instagram is all we have to go off right now, but nevertheless, this is an exciting prospect.
In other Timbaland reunion news, the superproducer is apparently working on a new Jodeci album as well. Let's hope Missy is next?
